Following the digital India dream of Government of India, BSNL has offered free E-Mail Address service in 8 Indian Languages to its broadband users by launching a ‘DataMail’ service. Now BSNL broadband users will be able to open an email ID in DataMail service in their own language.

WiFi is suddenly in the limelight as the operators want to be able to provide the access to the Indians. Since 3G has failed to offer the hi-speed access to the Indians, now the state-owned operator BSNL has plans to utilized its fibre network to offer carrier grade WiFi to the citizens. According to the sources, BSNL will spend as much as Rs 7000 crore on WiFI connectivity in the rural areas.
