DataWind launches first ever Punjabi Education Tablet ‘VidyaTab-Punjabi’

DataWind has yet again come up with a new innovative product - VidyaTab-Punjabi. The leader in delivering Internet access to emerging markets, Datawind, has partnered with Vismaad Inc., the leading developer of educational and animated Punjabi content to launch the first ever Punjabi education Tablet. The Tablet was launched in the presence of Honourable Bardish Chagger, Canada’s Minister of Small Business and Tourism and Leader of the Government in the House of Commonsand His Excellency Mr. Nadir Patel, High Commissioner for Canada to India.

Happiest Minds and Datawind Announce a Strategic Partnership

Happiest Minds Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with Datawind-makers of Aakash Tablet PC, and a leading provider of wireless web access products and services, to develop cloud-based applications and solutions on Datawind's low cost tablet platform-UbiSlate. Through this partnership both the companies will also look to create affordable mobility solutions for education and healthcare sectors.

Datawind and World Vision to distribute $40 tablets in African countries for education

Datawind, a developer of wireless web access products and inventor of the $40 Tablet, is working with World Vision Canada to supply the UbiSlate Android powered tablets for trial use in the development agency’s projects in African countries. This initiative is happening through Datawind’s North American partner Canada International Trade Service Inc.
