Canon India expects 100 Crore from its Projection Biz

Canon India launched its nine LV and XEED series projectors equipped with advanced technology. The new series will provide market-leading image quality to fulfil the diverse needs of customers like better projection of images of precise colors; lower operational costs, ease-of-use and energy efficiency.

Light Chasers joins hands with Canon India

Light Chasers, in an association with Canon India, completed the first part of India Kliks—an International photography event and also one of the biggest photography contests for Indian photo enthusiasts. Light Chasers is India’s foremost company specializing in providing a platform for photo aficionados to enhance their skills through varied and versatile programs that take place all across the world. In the words of Jasminder Oberoi, the Director of Light Chasers, "Light Chasers is a pioneer in this fast growing field of photography education and India Kliks is an initiative aimed to promote photo culture across India. Light Chasers have associated with Canon for this unique platform for budding photographers to showcase their skills and work in close association with prolific masters so as to get to the top of their game.

Canon India shares expansion plans

Canon India shared the growth plans for the digital imaging division by the end of 2015. The division planned deeper penetration in C, D and E towns and further expanded the service location from before 546 to 700+ locations currently to support development in smaller cities.
Canon’s OIS division focuses on offering A3 MFPs, high-end document and production scanners, solutions and Managed document services (MDS) to large enterprises, SMEs, Government sector across verticals. Currently, Canon is No.1 in A3 MFP segment with a market share of 25.9% as on June 2013 IDC report and plans to increase its market share to 29% by end of 2015.

Canon India to support Eye care, Education and Environment

For growth to be responsible, it should go beyond numbers and should do well for the society to create a better world. That's the kind of growth that Canon India believes in, and constantly strives for.
In line with its continued commitment to the society, Canon India added another milestone to its philanthropic efforts by donating an eye check-up machine to the vision centre at Ferozepur Namak village in Mewat District of Haryana. Under its ‘Adopt a Village’ social initiative, Canon India had undertaken the responsibility of developing the village infrastructure last year to provide seamless support to its inhabitants with core interventions in Eye care, Education and Environment for a period of three years.
