Paytm Adds Live Cricket Score Updates on its Mobile App

One97 Communications Limited, that owns the brand Paytm,  which offers multi-source and multi destination payment solutions announced today that its users can now get live cricket score updates through its mobile app*. India’s largest cricket tournament, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 will be the first for which the scores will be made available on Paytm app. Following IPL 2018, the live updates will continue for the action happening across all major domestic and international cricket tournaments.

For India cricket is not just a sport, it is a religion, and Paytm understands its value for the users. With these live updates, millions of Paytm users can stay abreast with all the cricketing action globally. Paytm aims to offer more value to its customers with each of its services and this new offering is a step in that direction.

The platform has also partnered with the Kings XI Punjab & Delhi Daredevils cricket teams as their exclusive official online ticketing partner. While buying tickets, users can make use of the Paytm's lucrative offers and get exciting cash back for their purchases of match tickets, cricket merchandise and even on flight/train/bus tickets, available for all venues, where IPL 2018 matches will be played.  Furthermore, every existing Paytm user also stands a chance to win IPL 2018 tickets, through various contests that will run during this season.

InsurTech startup Kruzr has raised 1.3 Million USD (Rs. 9.5 Cr) for its seed round led by Saama Capital with participation from Better Capital.
