ClearTax launches ClearTax Sign: An All-purpose Digital Signature Certificate Tool for Businesses

Leveraging technology to develop cutting-edge business solutions, ClearTax, India’s leading tax e-filing and compliance platform, has launched an all-purpose Digital Signature Certificate tool to help businesses sign, send, track, and archive several thousands of documents within minutes. ClearTax Sign is an accurate, highly secure and integrated solution that allows bulk signing and emailing documents to recipients. The APIs integrates with other document handling applications for ease of use. ClearTax’s best-in-class Digital Signature solution boasts of a processing capability of over 150 digital signatures in one second with 100% accuracy.

Archit Gupta, Founder and CEO, ClearTax commented, “Originally, we developed the Digital Signature Certificate for our in-house requirements, as we saw a clear gap in the e-signature solutions available in the market. Prompted by the speed and accuracy of our product, we decided to roll it out to clients. ClearTax Sign is a significant value-add offering businesses a 360-degree technology suite for taxation, legal and operational compliance.”

Companies are required to handle, on an almost daily basis, several legally enforceable documents related to GST, SEBI, hiring, accounting, etc. where signatures are mandatory under the law. Usually, the entire process of document processing, collecting signatures, countersignatures, finalizing and dispatching take as long as three weeks. ClearTax Sign enables businesses to complete such process in just 48 hours!

There are not many solutions that can handle large scale economically with high speed and accuracy. Clubbing with ClearTax’s GST and other B2B offerings, ClearTax Sign is a great value-add to its clients. It offers three main solutions: (1) on-premise solution for very large companies, (2) hosted solution with bank locker type security arrangements for the DSC device, and (3) local solutions for retail clients.
