ASUS Announces VivoBook S14 (S410UA)

ASUS announced ASUS VivoBook S14 (SS410UA), a 14-inch laptop with 13-inch compact form factor designed for boundless productivity on the go. The lightweight and extremely portable VivoBook S14 features an 18.8mm thin profile weighing just 1.4 kg. The VivoBook S14 comes loaded with up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM that translates into remarkable multi-tasking performance. The VivoBook S14 features a NanoEdge display with 7.8mm ultrathin bezel to provide a larger display area for better immersive view.

A More Powerful Option
VivoBook S14 (S410UA) is powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM for absolute multitasking performance. The 8th Generation Intel Core processor provides 60% more processing power than the previous generation. VivoBook S14 also features up to a 256GB SATA M.2 SSD for superfast data access speeds.

Design:
The compact VivoBook S14 (S410) has a thin, 18.8mm profile and weighing just 1.4 kg – making it one of the best portable 14-inch laptops available. It has a tough, scratch-resistant metallic spun-metal finish in Metal Grey and features the ASUS logo on the lid.

Along with the stylish design the notebook features a backlit keyboard with 1.4mm of travel that ensures comfortable typing experience. The touchpad supports Windows Precision Touchpad (PTP) standards, so it delivers smooth tracking, writing and multiple gesture recognition. Integrated palm rejection technology differentiates between fingertip and palm contact to counter unintentional cursor movement, helping improve accuracy.

The slim-bezel NanoEdge display enables VivoBook S14 to fit a 14-inch Full HD panel into a

13-inch chassis making it significantly smaller than any 14-inch laptops. This innovative design provides it with a thin bezel and up to 77% screen-to-body ratio for more immersive viewing.

In addition, VivoBook S14 (S410UA) features exclusive ASUS Splendid and ASUS Tru2Life Video technology. ASUS Splendid visual optimization technology ensures the best image quality for any type of content. It features four display modes, which can be accessed with a single click. Normal mode is ideal for daily tasks; Vivid mode optimizes contrast to deliver stunning photos and video; Eye Care mode reduces blue light levels to ease eye strain; and Manual mode allows for personalized color adjustments

VivoBook S14 features a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C™ (USB-C™) port for any-way-up connections and superfast data transfers that are up to 10X faster than standard USB 2.0. VivoBook S14 (S410) features the latest dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for speeds of up to 867Mbps – 6X faster than 802.11n. The energy-efficient Bluetooth® 4.2 also lets users pair their favorite devices with the laptop without draining the battery.
