MobiKwik now available on Samsung Pay on select Samsung devices


Mobile wallet major MobiKwik announced its association with Samsung Pay. Under the tie-up, MobiKwik wallet is now integrated with Samsung Pay Mini to enable one-tap payments at more than 1.4 million MobiKwik powered merchants pan-India. MobiKwik will also be available soon to Samsung Pay users.

Samsung Pay is the first handset-based mobile payments solution to be launched in the country. Samsung Pay Mini is now available on Samsung eligible devices, including J7 Max, J7’16, J7 Prime, On Max and On Nxt. Samsung Pay Mini is designed to cater to the unique requirements of Indian mid-segment consumers, provides a comprehensive platform for e-wallets and in making bank-to-bank transfers. Sanjay Razdan, Director, Samsung Pay Business, Samsung India said, “We are enthused by the tremendous response Samsung Pay has received since its launch, both from our consumers as well as partners. Samsung Pay recently won the ‘Best Contactless Innovation of the Year’, ‘Best Mobile Payments Solution of the Year’, and ‘Best Payments Innovation of the Year’ – at the Payments and Cards Awards held on 7 June in Mumbai.

RevStart launches its RevItUp Incubation Programme

Underlining its vision of creating a nurturing ecosystem for start-ups to grow in, RevStart, a co-working and incubation centre, has announced the launch of its RevItUp Incubation Programme. The 12-week long programme will be held at RevStart Incubation Centre in Noida from July 1, 2018 onwards. Insurtech startup Kruzr raises $1.3 Million from Saama Capital and Better Capital

InsurTech startup Kruzr has raised 1.3 Million USD (Rs. 9.5 Cr) for its seed round led by Saama Capital with participation from Better Capital. Kruzr is a preventive motor insurance technology which helps insurance companies personalize policy premiums & improve their risk model by delivering an engaging preventative driving assistant to their customers. Kruzr is founded by Pallav Singh, Ayan, and Jasmeet Singh Sethi.

Kruzr blends the power of voice technology and artificial intelligence in its personal driving assistant that helps drivers minimize mobile distractions, drowsy driving, speeding and external risks like weather and accident-prone zones.
