FreeCharge, gaana.com partner for swifter wallet payments on the platform

FreeCharge announced its partnership with gaana.com as an e-wallet payment solution provider to strengthen its presence in the entertainment category. Gaana.com is the biggest music and content streaming service in India and offers a monthly subscription service with unlimited downloads and listings of over 10 million songs. Registered users of gaana, which are more than 35 million in number, can opt and pay the subscription fee using FreeCharge wallet and enjoy a 100% Cashback offer on top of that for a limited period of time.

Gaana has added various other features such as original content programming with the likes of Asha Bhonsle, Shankar Mahadevan etc, local music integration, music recommendation engine and seamless playability even at 2G speeds. With 9 regional language presence, the brand has already extended its reach to millions of vernacular consumers, who can now also experience the swiftness and security of FreeCharge wallet payments.

FreeCharge already provides its customers a payment solution across leading merchants like bookmyshow.com, ticketnew.com, hungama music, www.tapp.com, viu etc and this association will further fuel its reach in the entertainment category.

Insurtech startup Kruzr raises $1.3 Million from Saama Capital and Better Capital

InsurTech startup Kruzr has raised 1.3 Million USD (Rs. 9.5 Cr) for its seed round led by Saama Capital with participation from Better Capital. Kruzr is a preventive motor insurance technology which helps insurance companies personalize policy premiums & improve their risk model by delivering an engaging preventative driving assistant to their customers.
