A leader in the delivery of internet access in emerging markets, has been named as one of the 20 most innovative public Canadian technology companies by the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX).
Soon after bagging NTA ICT World Communication Awards 2015 for providing Most Innovative Solution for Achievement of Digital India recently, DataWind has been recognized as one of the 20 most innovative public Canadian technology companies by CIX. The CIX selection committee evaluates all Canadian small and mid-cap publicly traded technology companies and rates each based on their business model, depth of management, market opportunity, and quality of product or service offering.
“This recognition for innovation reflects the success of our revolutionary technology that is bringing the experience of high-bandwidth Internet to people around the world in an entirely new way,” commented Mr Raja Tuli, Chairman, DataWind.
DataWind provides Internet access to emerging markets by overcoming the traditional hurdles of insufficient infrastructure and prohibitive costs to provide a broadband-like Internet experience on any data network, and at a price that is affordable even to those in developing economies.
DataWind will be featured at the CIX Public Investor Day being held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. The conference, which includes all 20 Most Innovativecompanies, is designed to connect small and mid-market Canadian public technology companies with the investment community. Activities will include company presentations, exhibits, keynote speakers and one-on-one meetings.
