MMA and Kantar IMRB in association with POKKT release a new report, titled ‘The Power of Mobile Gaming in India

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), with Kantar IMRB, recently released a report titled ‘The Power of Mobile Gaming in India’, offering the latest data and insights on mobile gaming trends in the country. With India’s mobile app market growing at breakneck speed, mobile gaming platforms are increasingly commanding a substantial share of the advertising pie. The report was released in association with POKKT, a smart phone advertising platform for mobile games.
According to the report, three out of four Indian gamers play mobile games at least a twice a day, for an average of 60+ minutes, each day. Mobile gaming is also quite prevalent in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, with similar amounts of time spent on gaming by users in these regions. Palo Alto Networks Announces Technology Partnership With Alibaba Cloud

Palo Alto Networks and Alibaba Cloud announced their technology partnership at the Computing Conference 2018 hosted by Alibaba Group in Hangzhou, China.

Alibaba Cloud provides a comprehensive suite of global cloud computing services to power its international customers’ online businesses and Alibaba Group’s own e-commerce ecosystem. IIIT-H Executive Program on AI/ML in association with TalentSprint adopted by CoE-DSAI of NASSCOM as their Ecosystem Partners to Create and Nurture Expertise in India

AI Technologies are Revolutionising Customer Service, Research Shows

Companies across EMEA are deploying artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to revolutionise customer service as more and more consumers show high acceptance of AI-driven experiences, reveals a new research report from ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) and Devoteam (DVTM.PA).
The report, “The AI revolution: creating a new customer service paradigm”, explores how AI is driving a new revolution in service delivery, drawing on research carried out with 770 IT professionals responsible for the customer service function in 10 EMEA countries.

28 Percent of Spending in Key IT Segments Will Shift to the Cloud by 2022

Twenty-eight percent of spending within key enterprise IT markets will shift to the cloud by 2022, up from 19 percent in 2018, according to Gartner, Inc. Growth in enterprise IT spending on cloud-based offerings will be faster than growth in traditional, non-cloud IT offerings. Despite this growth, traditional offerings will still constitute 72 percent of the addressable revenue for enterprise IT markets in 2022, according to Gartner forecasts.
“The shift of enterprise IT spending to new, cloud-based alternatives is relentless, although it’s occurring over the course of many years due to the nature of traditional enterprise IT,” said Michael Warrilow, research vice president at Gartner. “Cloud shift highlights the appeal of greater flexibility and agility, which is perceived as a benefit of on-demand capacity and pay-as-you-go pricing in cloud.”
